Welcome to the Bald Chef’s personal blog! Tonight, we’re putting together the All-American Cheeseburger with a twist. This is not your grandfather’s cheeseburger, we’re using organic buffalo ground bison, which is much leaner than traditional ground beef. This is organic and has a lot less fat in it. I’ll show you how to cook it so it tastes as good, if not better than any beef patty on the market.
Ingredients:
1 lb of organic buffalo ground bison
8 oz of ground bison
Cheddar cheese
Lettuce
Onion
Tomato
Chef’s salt (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic)
Dill kosher pickles
Sesame seed buns
Cooking Instructions:
Divide the 1 lb of buffalo ground bison in half and form into patties.
Season the patties with chef’s salt.
Grill the patties for 4 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 4 minutes.
Add two thin slices of cheddar cheese on top of the patty.
Toast the sesame seed buns.
Assemble the burger by adding lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickles on the bun.
