Best Buffalo Hamburger Ever

Welcome to the Bald Chef’s personal blog! Tonight, we’re putting together the All-American Cheeseburger with a twist. This is not your grandfather’s cheeseburger, we’re using organic buffalo ground bison, which is much leaner than traditional ground beef. This is organic and has a lot less fat in it. I’ll show you how to cook it so it tastes as good, if not better than any beef patty on the market.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of organic buffalo ground bison
  • 8 oz of ground bison
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Chef’s salt (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic)
  • Dill kosher pickles
  • Sesame seed buns

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Divide the 1 lb of buffalo ground bison in half and form into patties.
  2. Season the patties with chef’s salt.
  3. Grill the patties for 4 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 4 minutes.
  4. Add two thin slices of cheddar cheese on top of the patty.
  5. Toast the sesame seed buns.
  6. Assemble the burger by adding lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickles on the bun.
  7. Enjoy!
