  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of  flour

  • 16 oz of Monterey Jack cheese

While waiting for the water to boil, take 1 cup of jasmine rice and place it into an Asian-style rice cooker along with the appropriate amount of water. Cook the rice, and if you don’t have a rice cooker, simply follow the instructions on the rice package.

Once the water is boiling, add your cubed chicken to the pot and cook for 20 minutes. Afterward, remove the chicken cubes with a slotted spoon and set them aside. Take 2 cups of the chicken stock and set those aside as well.

In a sauté pan on high heat, add 5 Tablespoons till melted on medium-high heat.
