- Good quality spiral cut Ham
- 12 oz Dr Pepper
- 1/4 of a cup of Brown Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon of Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
Doctor Pepper Ham Recipe
Start with a good quality spiral cut Ham. Bring one can of 12 oz Dr Pepper, 1/4 of a cup of Brown Sugar, 1 Teaspoon of Garlic and 1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper to boil in small saucepan. Reduce heat on your stove to medium and cook until the mixture is syrupy. Let the dr Pepper glaze mixture cool. Place your spiral cut ham in a large plastic bag and pours in your Dr Pepper glaze to marinate overnight, leave a little extra to brush on as the ham cooks. When you are ready to cook the Ham pre heat the oven to 225 and cook for 2 hours. Brush ham with glaze Dr. Pepper every 15 minutes as it cooks. Remove the ham from the oven and sit back and listen to the complements.
