- 1 large yuca root
- 1/4 cup cooking oil

Buy a fresh large Yuca root, and peal the skin off the root completely. Cut the Yuka into large home fry slices. Boil 4 cups of water and place the cut yuca root into the water for about 7 minutes. Remove the water from the Yuca, and dry the cut slices. In a fry pan bring 1/4 cup cooking oil to high heat, place the cut yuca into the hot oil. Fry the Yuca for about 5 minutes until it is golden brown. Remove the Yuca from the oil and place on paper towels. Salt with about 1 tablespoon sea salt, and serve.
