Cooking Instructions For For Homemade Empanadas
This is a great appetizer recipe, or could even be used as a main course. This is perhaps not the true Latin way, so those that are offended by this recipe a realize that this is simply my interpretation of this Latin American cuisine. That being said, this recipe does not utilize beef for its filling , but rather ground buffalo. Buffalo or bison is much lower in fat, calories, and cholesterol. The 2 sauces utilized for our Empanadas include a jalapeno lime ranch sauce, and a tomato and chipotle pepper sauce. Both complement this Bald Chef’s version of South American Empanadas. Enjoy my friends.
