1 pound of beef chuck cubed.
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 table spoon black pepper
2 tablespoons virgin olive oil
4 cups of water
2tablespoons minced garlic
1 Bay leaf
8 oz. of tomato sauce
1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup pearl barley
1 white onion cut up fine
1 potato cubed
1 carrot cut fine
1 tablespoon sea salt
2 tablespoons fresh cut parsley
